About The Pink Peach
Headquartered in Columbus, Georgia, The Pink Peach is a news source for the LGBT community in West, Middle and South Georgia. Founded in 2014, The Pink Peach hopes to talk about LGBT news, events, and voices in these regions and elevate them to a higher platform. In addition, progressive politics, ideas and concerns are posted.
Harry Underwood, Editor-in-Chief/Founder
Harry is the editor-in-chief and founder of The Pink Peach. They also currently interns as a database manager for Quist, a mobile app for discovering events in the history of LGBT people on Earth. They are an alum of Middle Georgia State College, from which they graduated in 2013 with a Baccalaureate in New Media and Communications; they worked as Online Editor of The Macon Statement from 2009-2012.
Born in California in 1987, Harry has lived most of their life in Georgia since 1992. A Mac OS X and Ubuntu user, he supports open-source software, Creative Commons licensing, and open content wherever it appears.
